Winter is coming - HBO´s hit series, Game of Thrones, returns to our screens soon..!
This Sunday (24 April) sees the premier of the eagerly-awaited Season 6 of Game of Thrones. And it´s not just the keenest set-jetters who are desperate to find out which filming locations were used this time.

HBO is calling it "A Journey to Spain", with five different regions of Spain being used in the filming. So, from the north to the south of Spain, here they are - and here´s what the leading cast made of their experience in Spain:
GIRONA historic centre and cathedral (Catalunya).
Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H´Ghar): "a beautiful Medieval town, the perfect setting for Game of Thrones.".

So will the "Game of Thrones factor" work its magic again, this time for even more destinations in Andalucia and the rest of Spain?  Tourism to Seville reported a record year in 2015, with a 25% jump in visitor numbers, thanks in part to Season 5´s filming in the Alcazar palace.
